Sport electric motorcycle was built recently graduated from the ordinary American University - Appalachian State University. Tom Miceli realized in the form of fully working prototype.

ION - sports electric bike, built on the basis of 84-volt lithium-ion batteries LiFePo4 (40Ach) with a three-phase AC-motor, whose power is 34 kW (46 hp) and torque - 142 Nm.

ION accelerates to 130 km/h, which is not too much for an ordinary bike, but it is tolerable for electricbike. The maximum distance that can overcome the IES at a charging 100 km, after which the bike will have to keep a rosette entire 6 hours.
