Remy International and MotoCzysz created D1g1tal Dr1ve
Company Remy International, better known for working with electric motors, has teamed up with MotoCzysz, to create an integrated system of electric drive.

MotoCzysz used a motorcycle engine Remy E1pc, through which the race was won by Isle of MAN and FIM e-Power race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The motorcycle is named D1g1tal Dr1ve, received 135 hp (100 kW) and 339 Nm of torque. In the near future to create even more powerful electric unit, but smaller.

The most interesting part of this partnership include the fact that the resulting technology can later be used as a motorcycle, and on cars. The company said that the result will be obtained in the second quarter of 2011.
